David Arquette Says He And Courteney Cox Are "Definitely CNot Together"

It looks like this marriage is definitely nearing it's end.

Despite David Arquette and Courteney Cox stating on several occasions that they love eachother and they don't want to split, it seems like their marriage is finally over for good.

After completing a stint in rehab, people presumed David and Courteney would give their marriage another shot, but it looks like that dream is over!

The couple officially took a trial separation last summer but appeared to be getting close again recently when they were spotted together at a series of family and public events - and they spoke fondly of each other while promoting their film Scream 4.

However, Arquette insists there are no plans for the couple to play happy families again. During an interview he said:

"We're best friends and we're family but people change. We're still working on ourselves and our relationship... but we're definitely not together now. If we were to get back together, we'd make a statement - so don't believe any stupid tabloids."
I think if they were going to patch things up they would be back together now, so I think it's dead in the water now guys!

David Arquette Says Courteney Cox Rejected Him

This marriage sounds like it's officially over!

David Arquette has opened his mouth about his marital problems again and now he's revealed estranged wife Courteney Cox rejected him after he tried to "make a move" on her. The Scream 4 actor explained that he was turned down during a recent trip to Disney World with Cox and their 6-year-old daughter Coco.

The 39-year-old claimed that he and Courteney stayed in separate hotel rooms on different floors while on the trip. David said that he enjoyed the trip but things didn't go the way he planned:

"That's what I'd like from her relationship... to have a lot more fun. Some of that stuff is a lot harder for her to do. She can't go to South America and be anonymous there. Friends is everywhere. We're not together. She's my best friend, and I love her with all my heart. But we're not together, we're still separated."
Sounds like these two are finally done. Plus Courteney recently went on holidays with Cougar Town co-star Josh Hopkins. But David says he doesn't think they have started a relationship:

"She went away to St. Bart's with Coco and her best friend and Josh from the show, and I know about all of this. But these tabloids make it like there's some kind of scandal going on. But there's no scandal."
Even though it sounds bad, the former alcoholic, who had been clean for over 7 weeks now, says life is better than ever:

"We're really honest and open. Our relationship right now is actually better than ever. We both took a moment to look at our relationship. For me, I used it in a bad way to act out and kind of shake my world up because I was heartbroken. I dealt with it in the way I had to because I believe in learning from [my] mistakes."

Courteney Cox Says She And David Arquette Are Working On Their Marriage

It really looks like these two are getting back on track!

Courteney Cox has said that she and hubby David Arquette are trying really hard to make their marriage work. The 'Cougar Town' star said that David has really changed and he's really putting in the effort:

"Oh my God, I'm so proud of him! Best he's ever looked! He's so cute that I'm like, dude, I don't understand. Really?! Why are you that cute right now?"

She went on to say that the pair have been learning to get to know each other again:

"Our communication and the way we are, just learning about each other in a different way, it's smart. It's weird to be at this age and look at ourselves but it's hard and it's important and I'm glad we are, so I love him." 

Awh... it seems like they are trying really hard to keep their family together.

Courteney Cox Says She Still Has "Strong Feelings" For Separated Hubby David Arquette

Could there be a reunion on the cards?

Courteney Cox has confessed that she and hubby David Arquette "loved each other so much" and that she still has "strong feelings" for him.

The couple split in December 2010 after 11 years of marriage but have not filed for divorce. The Cougar Town actress tells this months Harper's Bazaar that she is willing to give their marriage another try:

"We loved each other so much, and if anything I feel like we've been extremely successful at marriage. If it doesn't work out, I will have huge waves of pain about failing in that department. But right now I don't have that because I don't know what the future holds and I guess because I have strong feelings for him."
The former Friends star said that she feels like she is David's "protector" and admitted she feels a huge responsibility in the relationship because he is eight years younger than her:

"I thought I had always been a little bit of a cougar with David. I don't find the whole cougar word that offensive. And also, a cougar is someone who takes care of herself and goes out with younger guys. She doesn't need a man to take care of her."

David Arquette Says He Thinks Courteney Cox Had An Affair!

Here he goes opening his big mouth again!

In a revealing interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show, David Arquette has said that he never cheated on wife Courteney Cox but believed she had done the dirt!

Although the couple announced their separation in September 2010, the Cougar Town actress had been discussing a split months earlier. David had said Courteney had said she didn't want to be his mother anymore, and apparently after that Courteney made the decision to split. David says:

"She came down really depressed one day, and was like 'I'm really just not happy.' I felt really sort of abandoned at that point. A deal is a deal." (That phrase is engraved on the inside of the couple's wedding bands, which they exchanged in 1999.) I was angry with...the dynamic of our relationship, I was angry with my wife."

He then went on to admit, that once stories began circulating that his wife was secretly with her co-star Brian Van Holt he thought the rumours were true:

"There were tabloid stories coming out about her and someone on her show having, you know, an affair. I thought she was having an affair with someone. Nobody would've said something like that if she weren't."

David also added that Courteneys massive success caused problems in the relationship. For one she was making $1 million per episode at the end. David said he became bitter:

"She was on this incredibly successful show, so she made more money than me," said Arquette, who added that he sought therapy to cope. "I was sort of always in her shadow. And I'd held all this bitterness."



Lastly Oprah asked the actor if there was ever a chance that the two could get back together, he sounded unsure:

"I love Courteney, I don't know right now. I want us to be the best people we can be, and then if it's together--I want her to be happy, and if me even being the best person I can be doesn't make her happy in a partner--like, who she needs, whatever she's looking for--that's still to be answered. I know that I'll be with her for my whole life. And we have an amazing family together and we're really great parents together."
