Selena Gomez has said that she feels "hurt" by all the abuse she has been getting for dating Justin Bieber.
While on The David Letterman Show, the 18-year-old said she doesn't understand all the hate:
"It's hard. It hurts, it really does. I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I've been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot but I try not to focus on it. I have a strong family and great fans."But she did admit that she has a crush on Jesse McCartney when she was younger, so she can understand the jealousy:
"I have to agree with them sometimes. I loved Jesse McCartney. I was obsessed with him. He dated Katie Cassidy when he was 16 or 17. I hated her, absolutely hated her."
According to reports Selena has been receiving constant death threats from obsessed fans and has been "fearing for her life".
