Rihanna Films New Music Video In Ireland

Well this is quite random, but I love it.

International superstar and awesome lady Rihanna has decided to film her latest music video 'We Found Love' in Co. Down of all places.

The songstress is currently in Northern Ireland for her Irish leg of her world tour. In the new video Rihanna seems to be dressed up as a country girl, roaming the Irish fields and there is a nice bit of machinery thrown in there in the background (how lovely).





RiRi is just back from Rio where she performed the same weekend as pal Katy Perry, but instead of filming in the exotic location it seems that Ireland is her perfect place.

Rihanna will be performing in Dublin's O2 on Monday the 3rd of October.

Rihanna and Drake Dating Again?

According to reports singers Rihanna and Drake have started hooking up again.

The couple first started dating back in 2009 right after the 'S&M' singer split from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. But later Rihanna admitted the relationship didn't continue because she was in a weird place after the split, and then started dating Matt Kemp.

But the single singer has apparently been enjoying a relationship with her 'What's My Name' co-star again. Sources say the pair are mad about each other:

"They are definitely attracted to each other. She's all about her career, and he wants to date around."

Back in 2009., when RiRi had ended things Drake told press he felt used and hurt:

"I was a pawn. You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I've done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear. I was like, 'Wow, this feels terrible'."
Last week, Rihanna (23) said that any man wanting to date her needs to "earn" her love. Do you think Drake could do that?

I think he seems like a really nice guy!

Meanwhile, in other Rihanna news, she has announced she is the new face of famous fashion house Armani.




Writing on Twitter she told fans the news: “U would NEVER guess what I’m doing right now!!! Hint Hint #Armani” and this morning Armani announced she’d be the new “Global Testimonial” for both Emporio Armani Underwear and Jeans. 

The Jamican singer will be following in the footsteps of hottie Megan Fox.

Usher and Rihanna Spotted On Secret Date

Will they, won't they, have they, haven't they? Nobody knows what's going on with R'N'B stars Usher and Rihanna.

It had been reported that the two singers were seen getting jiggy at Coachella Festival last weekend (where all celeb romances seem to kick off) but at the time the 'What's My Name' singer's close friend denied anything was going on between the pair.

But now sources say that the two were seen together in New York, trying to keep their romance low-key. An insider said:

"They had a really good time together last weekend and wanted to see each other again somewhere private straight after. They've known each other for a long time but it's always been bad timing. They've had a few long, passionate kisses. There's definitely a spark between them. It would have been too obvious to go somewhere in LA and they were both going back to New York for work commitments."

Rihanna Said No To The X Factor

Well this isn't a surprise.

Rihanna's name has been thrown around a lot when figuring out who the US X Factor judges will be. But the 'What's My Name' singer admitted that she could never have said yes.

The songstress has said that she was in talks with Simon Cowell to be a judge but she can't commit to the show:

"It’s something that I would have loved to do. But … you have to be around months at a time, which is impossible for me."

Rihanna Says She "May Never Speak To Chris Brown Again"

Rihanna has revealed that she might never speak to ex-boyfriend Chris Brown again, but that she requested her restraining order against him to be lifted, only to help him out professionaly.

Chris was ordered to stay away from the 'What's My Name' singer because of the serious assault in 2009. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Rihanna says she got the restraining order relaxed only to help Brown's career, not to get back into his life:

"[It's] my decision... it doesn't mean we're getting married tomorrow. It doesn't mean we're gonna be in a relationship, or make up, or even talk ever again. It just means I didn't want to object to the judge. We don't have to talk again ever in my life. I just didn't want to make it more difficult for him professionally. What he did to me was a personal thing - it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can't perform at awards shows - that definitely made it difficult for him."

Meanwhile, even though Chris had a FREAK OUT last week, bad press can't stop him! His new album F.A.M.E. debuts this week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with total album sales of over 271,000.

Rihanna Admits She Is Really Into S&M, Says She Is A Masochist

Wow this is a deeply personal topic!

Rihanna has said that she really does love S&M and admits that she is a masochist. The 'What's My Name' singer told Rolling Stones magazine that she always wants to feel 'owned':

"I love feeling like I'm somebody's girl. I love to be tied up and spanked. Using whips and chains is too planned... you have to stop and look for the whip. I prefer them to use their hands."
Ok I think every man in the world just got hard there! The singer added that she calls herself a masochist an that she is not proud of that fact. She goes on to admit that she believes her desire to be hurt stems from abuse from her father as a child. She told the magazine that he used to hurt her:

"I was always terrified on Friday because he could come home drunk. That was payday, and half of it went on alcohol."

Well I guess that girl has a lot more problems than Chris Brown then. She seems to be a very messed up young woman. I hope she finds peace!

Rihanna Says She Never Meant To Offend Katy Perry!

"Love you boo!"



Rihanna has said that previous comments she made about pal Katy Perry's "generic music" was taken out of context.

The 'S&M' singer said on a radio interview a few months back that she didn't like Perry's music. While talking about her new album she said:


"I didn't want the generic pop record that Ke$ha or Lady GaGa or Katy Perry would do. Every song is tailored to me."


RiRi and Katy were BFF's at this point, with the songstress even organizing Perry's hen party. But after these comments Rihanna didn't show up at her wedding to Russell Brand. So was she uninvited? Well Rihanna says no, she was only referring to music producers and songwriters, not the singers themselves:


"I didn't say that. Did you see the interview? That's not what I said. OK, if anything it was a diss to songwriters and producers who can't make anything other than formula records. They'll make a song and give it to Rihanna. If she doesn't take it, they'll take it to Katy, and if Katy doesn't take it they'll give it to GaGa. That's not what we want. We like songs that scream our individuality. We like records that speak for who we are as artists and that are tailored to us."

I wonder if Katy Perry took it that way??

Rihanna Says Chris Brown Assault Made Her Music Better

This is a strange thing to say!

Rihanna has said that suffering assaults from Chris Brown has made her write better songs, and has given an "edge" to her music. Rihanna tells Vogue magazine:

"It actually gave me a lot of liberation. What I mean is, I was able to tap into the personal part of my music. I started to tell stories through my music that were actually my stories. My album before that, there was still a little bit of protection, there was still an innocence to me. And what that time in my life did was kind of wake people up - it's not all a bed of roses. My life is like yours."

The 23-year added that going through the hurtful experience made her look at life differently:

"It made me look at the world in a much bigger way because my life was suddenly superduper magnified; all eyes were on me. I needed that in my life to know how to say, 'F**k off!' To know how to keep my head high even in the worst of situations. I keep using the word unapologetic, but there's a freedom that has come with all of that. Where you feel like you don't have to make an excuse for being yourself."

It's great that she feels "liberated" now, but saying that Chris helped her lose her innonce, which she thinks is a good thing, definitely seems wrong to me.

Rihanna Says She Is Shocked Her Dad Sold Stories To The Press

Rihanna has said that she can't understand why her father has been selling stories to the press.

RiRi's dad has already sold family photographs and stories (which were apparently unture) about his daughter and the singer has said she finds the whole thing "bizarre":

"It's really strange. You grow up with your father, you know him, you are part of him, for goodness sake! And then he does something so bizarre that I can't begin to wrap my mind around it. You hear these horror stories about people going behind people's backs and doing strange things, but you always think, 'Not my family. My father would never do that to me.'"

The 22-year-old added that her Dad never spoke to her when she was assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown. Instead he went straight to the press and made up things his daughter had said:

"My dad went to the press and just told them a bunch of lies, because he hadn't talked to me after... that whole thing. He never called to find out how I was doing, if I was alive, nothing. He just never called. He went straight to the press and got a cheque."
Wow... he does not sound like a nice man. And why would you need money when your daughter is an international superstar?? Go figure!

Rihanna Announces New Single!

Rihanna has announced the title of her next single!

The Jamican songstress decided to let fans decide what her next release would be and the song 'Califonia King Bed' topped the voting poles!

The track was chosen by fans from a shortlist posted by Rihanna on Twitter. The new single beat other tunes 'Man Down', 'Cheers' and 'Fading'

The winning song was produced by The Runners, who are currently working with X Factor star Cher Lloyd on her debut album!!

Producer DJ Nasty broke the news to his followers on Twitter, tweeting:

"Congratz 2 My Team We Winning! The Real Runners Did Rihanna’s Official Next Single!‘California King Bed’.”
The slow tune will be a nice change as the singer has only released hip-hop tunes lately. Have a listen to her new single here:

Ryan Phillippe has finally admitted that he's dating... but who?

The 'Lincoln Lawyer' star has been seen going on holidays with Amanda Seyfried, but neither of them seem to be giving anything away!

Rihanna and Ciara Fight On Twitter!

Meow, what a catfight this was!

Rihanna has confronted Ciara on Twitter over comments she made about her on E!'s Fashion Police. While on a recent special for the Brit awards, Ciara and Joan Rivers were discussing RiRi's Brits outfit.

Ciara didn't seem to happy with the 'What's My Name' singer as she told Joan:

"I ran into her recently at a party and she wasn't the nicest. It's crazy because I've always loved and respected what she's done with fashion and I've ran into her before but this time it... wasn't the most pleasant run-in."
And let's just say Rihanna was not happy at all about that statement. She took to Twitter to attack the 'Goodies' singer saying:

"My bad ci, did I 4get to tip u? #howrudeofme (sic)."

Thing started to get heated then when Ciara replied:

"Trust me Rhianna u dont want to see me on or off stage," 

Ouch! How bitchy is that? Well it gets worse, RiRi was not ready to back down, she Tweeted:

"U gangsta huh? Haaa. Good luck with bookin that stage u speak of."

But then it seemed Rihanna had a change of heart, or else her management told her to stop making the catgifght public! The songstress finally gave in saying:

"Ciara baby, I love u girl! You hurt my feelings real bad on TV! I’m heartbroken! That’s y I retaliated this way! So sorry! #letsmakeup."
Now, that seemed seriously sarcastic to me but Ciara took it as a real apology, she replied:

"Rhi u know its always been love since day 1! Doing shows/everything. you threw me off in that party! Apology accepted. Let's chat in person."
So have they really made up? I don't think so! I'm guessing both of their management teams told them to stop the fight as it would damage their image.
