"Prison Break" and "Heroes" scene stealer Robert Knepper has joined the cast of the supernatural action thriller "R.I.P.D." at Universal Pictures says Heat Vision.
Based on the Dark Horse comic, Ryan Reynolds plays a murdered cop who is recruited to work in the Rest in Peace Department, a police force comprised of ghosts who battle spirits unready to depart this world.
Knepper will play one of the spirits, known as a “deado”. Kevin Bacon, James Hong, Marisa Miller, Mary-Louise Parker and Stephanie Szostak also star.
